MehdiApps
These terms govern your use of the Tazkiyah mobile app and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of these terms.
Tazkiyah is a personal journal for daily spiritual reflection (musharitah, muraqabah, and muhasabah). It is a self-help tool, not medical, psychological, legal, or religious counsel, and not a substitute for a qualified professional or teacher.
You do not create an account with MehdiApps. Journal data is stored on your device. You are responsible for your device, PIN, backup password, and any copies you make.
If you enable backups, you choose where encrypted backup files are stored (local folder, a folder you pick, or Google Drive after you sign in). MehdiApps does not host those files.
Google Sign-In and Google Drive are optional and provided by Google. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that sign-in. The app requests the limited drive.file scope so it can create and update backup files the app itself stores in your Drive. You can disconnect Google in the app and revoke access in your Google account.
MehdiApps grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tazkiyah on devices you own or control, as offered through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law or the store’s terms.
Use the app only for lawful personal journaling. Do not misuse Google Sign-In or Drive access, interfere with the app, or violate store or Google policies.
The app is provided “as is.” MehdiApps does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. You use it at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, MehdiApps is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of journal data, backups, or access to Google services. Store refund and consumer rules that cannot be waived still apply.
We may update these terms. The effective date on this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
